Hang  Tuah

According to Malay hikayat, Hang Tuah was a legendary Malay warrior who lived during the reign of the Malay Sultanate of Melaka in the 15th century, 1400-1511 AD. Hang Tuah is believed to be a native of Melaka and was born in Kampung Sungai Duyung, Melaka in 1444. Today Kampung Sungai Duyung is one of the tourist attractions in Bandar Hilir, Melaka. Based on records, the parents of Hang Tuah Hang Mahmud and Dang Merdu Wati. Both Hang Tuah's parents used to work at the palace. Hang Tuah's father was a palace warlord while his mother was a maid in the palace. Hang Tuah's family is familiar with the palace so it is not surprising when he also became a warrior in the palace.

 

Surely you already know that Hang Tuah is very good at martial arts and playing weapons. Hang Tuah also has 4 good friends, namely Hang Jebat, Hang Hang Kasturi, Hang Lekir and Hang Lekiu. They were good friends since childhood, and when they were teenagers they went to study at Gunung Ledang. Their teacher is named Adiputra.
