Have you ever come across the term "folklore"? Are you familiar with Bawang Putih Bawang Merah or Si Tanggang? Malay folklore includes folk music and song, bardic tales, animal fables, ghost stories, epics, fairy tales, symbolic wisdom, and mythology. In terms of people, environment, and storytelling, each story has its unique set of strengths. Malay folklore has a lengthy history. The stories were based on Malay culture as well as the effect of the surroundings, according to the timeline at the time they were written.

The day has finally arrived after months of planning and preparation. We, the University of Kuala Lumpur students, are excited to finally introduce Nilam Kenchana to the general public. Prepare yourself for a one-of-a-kind adventure filled with discovery and inspiration. Nilam Kenchana will demonstrate in this show that each story has its own history.
