Gua Kerbau

Buffalo fight was one of the events in the annual festival during the Old Kedah Kingdom. The event was held at an open field in Kodiang. One year, a buffalo that lost in the event ran to a nearby limestone cave in Bukit Keplu. He was overcome with grief and rushed into the cave without realising that Sang Kelembai was resting in it. Sang Kelembai was angry because the buffalo had disturbed his peace and cursed him to stone. From there, the locals began to called the cave as Gua Kerbau (The Buffalo Cave).
