Nujum Pak Belalang

In the story Nujum Pak Belalang, Pak Belalang, a slacker who despises hard labour, is the protagonist of this story. He is the father of a small boy named Belalang, who is wiser and more diligent than his father. Pak Belalang and his son concoct a scheme to pose himself as an astrologer in order to aid fellow peasants in need. The mayor, convinced, brings him to the royal palace to assist in the investigation of a robbery, but the lies begin to unravel.
